Em Farrell is a psychotherapist and author. She has worked in the field of eating disorders since 1989 when she set up a centre for Eating Disorders in London. She is passionate about training, for herself and others and in the last few years has completed a training in ISTDP (intensive short term psychotherapy), as well as exploring difference forms of equine therapy for humans. She published her second book A is for Anorexia: Anorexia Nervosa Explained early last year, which was an Amazon no. 1 bestseller. She works with families and individuals who seek fast and effective interventions, as well as those who want slow and steady change. She also used to run clinical workshops at the WPF on Obesity, Bulimia and Normal Eating.
