Alessandra Lemma Keynote Speaker on 

‘The Disintermediation of Desire: Technology, The Body and Sex’


The lecture will explore the impact of new technologies on the work of desire.

Professor Alessandra Lemma is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst and Fellow of the British Psychoanalytical Society. She has worked in the NHS for over 25 years specializing in the treatment of adults and adolescents. She is Co-Director of the Young People Therapy and Consultation Service at the Queen Anne Street Practice. Alongside her private practice she continues to be Professor of Psychological Therapies at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and Essex University.

The FPC Conference will provide the chance to network and catch up on developments within FPC and the wider professional network.

The FPC AGM will be held at the end of the Conference, preceded by a refreshment break. All members are encouraged to attend.
